Ped'er Pants Hash on Panhandle trail

Memorable hash with lots of toys, swings, axes, shovels, geocaches. Duke had its day of fun bringing down tres ("timber !").

Starting on the Panhandel Trail near Oakmont, the pack started locking for marks and beer. What they found was an assortment of tools and a almost hacked tree, that just had about two inches of fiber holding it. It didn't take much for Pound Puppy, Duke of Hurl, and Luke Fairy to bring the poor arboreal speciment to horizontal rest, and then subjected to the excrutiatingly painful Duke of Hurl Fat Boy Test. At the second beer stop, a swing rope gave room to the half-mind's imagination, and one by one, several volunteered to act as Tarzan and Jane. But, not once but twice, the rope got twisted around an upper branch, stucking the rope, and unstucking required a concerted intervention of eager-to-help crowds.

While on trail, Sherpes recognized a location and yelled to the crowd behind him that there was a geocache nearby. Giant Ankle found it, and with Folker, the three of them signed the log and took a travel bug with them, a necklace of buckeyes stringed together.

Map of true trail.
